On the 16th December 2021, Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) circulated a notification regarding the implementation dates for the new RoHS technical regulation. See “Technical Regulation for Restriction of hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment”
In order to allow manufacturers and suppliers an additional period to comply with the technical requirements of the new regulation, SASO has decided to postpone the implementation of the new regulation for a period of six months and to enforce the new regulation gradually per industry category according to the following dates:
