MELA supports the efforts of regulatory authorities in the GCC region responsible for compliance and market surveillance. However more can be done to ensure both on and offline suppliers of lighting products comply with regional lighting regulations in the GCC region.
Cases of non compliance to basic lighting regulations developed & supported by MELA and its members remain high!
